Our theory on Proteins
ALBION AUTHENTIQUE focuses on "proteins", which hold the key to skin beauty. We have developed a treatment to promote normal protein synthesis by addressing ER stress.
Proteins are produced in the endoplasmic reticulum, however, 80% of proteins synthesized in the ER are defective. If the ER is functioning properly, defective proteins are degraded and reused as materials for subsequent protein synthesis.
However, if ER function is impaired due to external or internal stressors such as ultraviolet rays, air pollution, or mental stress, protein synthesis becomes stagnant, causing a phenomenon called "ER stress", which results in the accumulation of defective proteins in the ER.
Newly developed original beauty ingredients – Protereation™
The newly developed original beauty ingredients for ALBION AUTHENTIQUE "Protereation™" is coined to mean an ingredient that creates well-functioning proteins by combining "protein" and "creation".
Protereation™ consists of three carefully selected active ingredients; Cornflower water from Shirakami, Rice fermented extract, and Original yeast extract.
The combination of these three ingredients are a miraculous combination, identified out of hundreds of combinations to maximize the treatment effect.
In particular, the Shirakami Cornflower extract is a beauty ingredient developed exclusively for, and is highly formulated only in ALBION AUTHENTIQUE. Upon harvesting, flowers with light pigmentation are not picked; only flowers with a vivid color are selected and picked by hand.
Cornflower water
Cornflower is a member of the Asteraceae family(In Japan, it is called "Yagurumagiku" for its arrow wheel-shaped flowers that bloom from spring to summer). It contains anthocyanin and has excellent blood circulation-promoting properties.
The ingredient promotes blood circulation, enhances skin metabolism, and purifies the interior of the skin by encouraging decomposition and discharge of unwanted components.
Rice fermented extract
The filtrate's main ingredient is sake, one of Japan's traditional alcoholic drinks.
Sake, produced by Japan's unique fermentation technology, is rich in amino acids, which are the raw materials in proteins.
Original yeast extract
Fresh yeast extract made with a proprietary special process. It is rich in nucleic acids, nucleic acid-related substances, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
The ingredient activates epidermal cells to enhance growth and respiration while providing moisture and restoring the skin's barrier. It also boosts collagen production for better elasticity, alleviates UVB-induced damage, controls sebum production, and brightens the complexion.
